Atmosphere Aerosol – FAQ & Buy

Atmosphere Aerosol is a clear, non-toxic haze. As with any aerosol, use it in a well-ventilated space and follow the directions on the can. It leaves no oily residue in normal use, but always test in your space first.

Used as directed in a ventilated space, it is designed to disperse cleanly. For long sessions or sensitive equipment and surfaces, keep the area ventilated, avoid over-spraying, and wipe down afterwards if needed. Test first if you are worried about a specific surface.

It depends on the air. In a still, sealed room it can hang for a good while; with any air movement it clears faster. That is a feature — you top up with a quick burst between takes to keep it consistent.

A little goes a long way, so a single can covers plenty of setups. Exactly how many depends on room size and how heavy you like your haze. For big spaces or all-day shoots, grab a couple of cans.

No. That is the point — it is a self-contained alternative to a fog machine. Just the can, a still space and your camera. Set dressers and photographers keep one in the bag for exactly this reason.

Like any haze or fog product it can potentially trigger sensitive smoke or fire-detection systems. On location, always check with the venue first and be mindful of alarms and sprinklers before you spray.

It works best in still, windless conditions, so indoors or sheltered spots are ideal. Outdoors it can still work on a dead-calm day, but any breeze will carry the haze away quickly.
