Breakups & Foliage Gobos

Leaves, branches, trees, blossoms and abstract breakups. Breakup gobos soften a flat wash and add natural texture, which is why they are the most-used gobos in theatre and film.

Where they work

Use a leaf breakup through a profile spot for dappled forest light, a soft texture across a cyc, or to take the flatness out of a backdrop. On film sets they add depth behind talent and make a lit wall feel real.

Steel or glass

Most designs in this range are steel gobos, which suit almost any profile spot and handle heat well. Where a design needs fine detail or greyscale, choose a glass version. Every pattern is available in the common A, B, M and E sizes to suit ETC, Selecon, Strand, Altman and most moving heads.
