What it is — and what it isn’t
Use it for
- Temporary dulling of reflective props and products
- Product, still-life and studio photography
- Film and TV set dressing where reflections cause problems
- Location shoots in bright conditions
Don’t use it for
- Permanent finishes — it’s a temporary, wipe-off film
- Delicate or untested surfaces without a hidden-area test first
- Use near flames or heat — extremely flammable aerosol
- Poorly ventilated spaces — avoid breathing the spray
Getting the best result
- Test on a small, hidden area first.
- Shake the can well.
- Spray a light, even coat from about 30 cm — build up gradually rather than one heavy coat.
- Check through the camera and add more only where needed.
- Remove with a soft, dry cloth straight after the shoot.
