Rosco Fluorescent UV Paints

Rosco Fluorescent Paints glow vividly under ultraviolet blacklight, and can also be mixed with Rosco's other scenic paints to push ordinary colours brighter. CFATS holds the range in Australia as the exclusive Rosco agent for Australia and New Zealand.

What they do

Under UV light, fluorescent paint appears to glow — the effect used for neon signage, blacklight scenery, hidden reveals, festival and club art, and day-to-night transformations on stage. In normal light the colours read as bright, saturated versions of themselves, so a fluorescent finish works whether or not the blacklight is on.

The paint

Fluorescents use the same high-quality, water-based vinyl acrylic binder as Rosco Off Broadway paint, so they brush and roll the same way and suit most properly prepped surfaces. Available in nine brighter-than-normal colours that can be used on their own or blended into other Rosco paints.
